Registers of Scotland publishes latest House Price data
The Registers of Scotland published Average Price data for November 2017 and volume of sales data for September 2017 (the latest months for which this type of data is available).

In respect of Average Price, this increased 3.6% on the November 2016 figure to stand at £145,992. This was also an increase of 1.1% over the October 2017 figure.

In terms of volume of sales, in September 2017, there were 9,323 sales registered. This was a decrease of 2.5% on the September 2016 figure and a small decrease of 0.5% against the August 2017 figure.

In terms of our local areas of Stirling and Falkirk, in the Stirling local authority area, the average price as at November 2017 stood at £171,629 - an increase of 0.7% against the November 2016 figure. In respect of the Falkirk local authority area, the average price figure stood at £119,670, an increase of 6.0% against the same month in the previous year.

When reviewing the volume of sales in Stirling and Falkirk, these stood at 162 and 263 respectively - in both cases a reduction over the September 2016 figure. In the case of Stirling, the reduction is 1.2% and, in the case of Falkirk, the reduction is 7.1%
